WHILE WE ARE STILL HERE

Life is short. The Bible says our days are like a vapor that appears for a little while and then disappears (James 4:14). This means every moment we have is a gift from God, and we must use it wisely.

While we are still here, we must seek God with all our hearts. Tomorrow is not promised, and salvation is only available while we live. That is why Scripture says, “Seek the Lord while He may be found” (Isaiah 55:6).

While we are still here, we must love others. Many people live with regret because they waited too long to forgive, to say “I love you,” or to reconcile. Love must not be postponed, because we don’t know how much time anyone has.

While we are still here, we must serve God with the gifts He has given us. Jesus said we must do the works of God while it is day, because night is coming when no one can work (John 9:4). Every opportunity to bless others and glorify God should be taken now.

And while we are still here, we must live ready for eternity. Death and Christ’s return are certain, even if their timing is not. Hebrews 9:27 reminds us that after death comes judgment. That means our preparation must be daily.

In conclusion, life on earth will not last forever. While we are still here, let us love, forgive, serve, and live in readiness for the day we stand before God. The best time to do what is right is now.
